Acquisition Reflects Doma Vida Investment’s Continued Commitment to Investing in the Charlotte Economy and Local Businesses
CHARLOTTE, N.C - August 16, 2022 - Doma Vida Investments (DVI), a Charlotte-based real estate investment firm, announced a $12 million dollar acquisition of the Floyd Smith Office Park in northeast Charlotte, NC. DVI has additional plans for a multi-million-dollar upfit of the office park over the next several years.
Purchased from Speedway MotorSports, LLC with financing partner Dogwood State Bank, the acquisition of the Floyd Smith Office Park is the next phase of DVI’s Charlotte-focused investment strategy. Their value-added strategy is driven by the firm's vision for their investments to enable regional growth and expansion of Charlotte businesses. To date, DVI has invested over $20 million dollars into real estate acquisitions, renovations, and sales, including most recently, the sale of a warehouse property in South End to another local investor.

The Park will be co-managed in partnership with The Nichols Company, a Charlotte-based real estate firm.
